Sample of my Pregnancy Leg Workout

Sample of what I do on a leg day when at the gym. This was filmed at 12 am, the only time I could fit my workout in that day. No Excuses get it done  ;)

    1. Hi Carmen I general lift in the 8 to 12 rep range so that's heavy which is in the muscle building range. During pregnancy I've been doing a mixture of this and higher rep range. Anyone new to weights in pregnancy should be lifting in the higher rep range of 12/15 or more as your goal is to maintain muscle not over stress them during this time. Everyone is different so saying the weights I use is not really the idea as heavy or light is relative to the person. But generally at this stage (3rd trimester) I am lifting half of what I'm used to because that's what I feel comfortable with. For example on squats before I could rep 60/70kg easily now I do 20/30kg now as my bump gets in the way and I don't want to strain my back. Hope this helps. have a blessed day :)
